The sidelock action is strong, simple and eminently reliable. The receiver is machined from a single billet of tool steel. Barrels are hand-built and fitted to the closest of tolerances. Trigger response is incredibly fast and smooth. Turkish Circassian walnut is matched for stock and forend, then custom-crafted to precise owner dimensions and tastes.
This mechanical excellence and meticulous craftsmanship make the A. Galazan over & under shotgun worthy of the description "best gun." Yet it is in the final finishing and custom engraving that this gun surpasses any in the world. Typical of the guns built as of this writing are those with fine rose and scroll.

This gun, snG201, is a 16ga. with rose and scroll engraving, gorgeous Turkish walnut, 29.5" barrels with a solid rib, choked IC/M. It is tight as new and one of a pair of guns that are no longer together. The gun is solid, substantial, and weighs 7 3/4lbs. with a balance slightly forward...the perfect clays and bird gun. The non-selective single trigger is crisp and the Prince of Whales style stock measures 14 5/16" to the checkered butt with heel and toe plates. It has a gold oval inletted into the ball grip and tear drop points at the side panels...NICE! Those familiar with the finest shotguns in the world may recognize the Boss style receiver and forend iron and shape of the wood. Tony Galazan has created the finest blend of modern technologies and materials with the classic appeal of the BEST LONDON over/under at an affordable price.
