Description:
Remington 700 .223 Custom Varmint. This simple, but attractive, rifle has just become available out of the private collection of the gentleman who had it built. All his rifles were extremely accurate and meticulously put together. Although the stock looks factory it is NOT.. It is custom made for this varmint rifle and precisely bedded, 14 ½” LOP over ½” rifle pad. Signed in the barrel channel: Dave R, Grade I, Pat B. The 24” barrel is a Hart chambered for .223 the action is completely Remington but it has been tuned to precision, trigger breaks at 1 lbs. 12 oz. The gun weighs 9 lbs. 4 oz. with the Leupold VX III, 4.5-14X40 scope and mounts. 98%+ overall condition with one small “ding” on the forward part of the comb and a small paint chip on the bottom of the trigger guard.
