Description:
Beautiful 1860 Army serial number 247. Good looking gun with most finish remaining on the front half of the gun. Still some light case colors on the loading ram rod. Also on the frame, hammer and trigger. Cylinder has nice blue in the flutes. Some wear to the high points. Nice smooth metal with all markings excellent. All matching numbers. Grips are very nice condition . Good fitting and appears to have had a coat of varnish added years ago. Oddly the very bottom of the grip frame appears to have been re-done. Like nearly all fluted guns, this has the cutouts on the recoil shield for a stock. Bore is VG. Action is nice and tight. This fine Colt comes with a Colt Letter. Also a Slim Jim holster and old belt with a US buckle.
