Serial number #90 stamped under barrel at breech and otherwise unmarked, which usual. Known as the “POOR MAN’S DERINGER” (See Flayderman, p.131, #5c-023). Pictured in Bacon’s Catalog dated 1861. Cheap deringer carried by private soldiers in the Civil War as a personal side arm. Easily concealed and cost about a dollar. Nice grey brown patina and has the original walnut grips.
