This Winchester M12 12ga was manufactured in 1946 probably as a "Trench" or "Riot" gun and "Field expedient converted or modified" into a field to training shotgun with the additions of a non-Winchester (Savage/Stevens?) barrel with Cutt’s compensator attached. The take-down feature is retendered non-functional due to the conversion to "long barreled" shotgun. Overall condition is in the 97% range with clear cartouches and stamps on this interesting and enigmatic shotgun. Dimensions: 28 1/2"-2 3/4" chamber with Cutt's Compensator 8lb 0oz
