Description:
Overall length of 34". The bottom is a wooden shaft with a couple of age cracks but all wood is present. Gun is a nice aged color with some scratching and chipping to the finish. The upper portion in front of the chamber is a metal tube and then is the Stag handle. This is center fire in 45 cal. Which 45? Bbl is rather thin and I don't think you would want to shoot anything with too much power through it. Also it is a smooth bore. It is likely some 45 shot cartridge. 45 Colt does not fit. A very simple quarter twist opens it. You insert the cartridge and twist shut. A small button is the trigger. There doesn't appear to be any safety mechanism. A very interesting good looking piece!
