Evidently loaded with shot and approximately a 20 ga. An early style cane gun that has a knob that you pull to cock covering the percussion nipple. The bbl part has been painted brown years ago and has a lot of chipping and flaking giving it that aged appearance. What is cool about these is they have a wooden handle. The wooden handle is in quite good cond. There is a screw that was put in probably 100 years ago to hold it in place. This also has a screw on butt stock that turns it from a standard cane gun into a rifle cane gun. I don't quite understand the theory behind that but it does look cool.
