Winchester pre-64 model 70 custom rifle barreled by Gre’ –Tan chambered in 6 BR w/.270 neck. Very interesting custom rifle built in a heavy sporting or light varmint configuration. The 24” barrel has a muzzle diameter of .676” and is presented in a high polish blue with the Gre’-Tan logo and caliber engraved. The model 70 action has had the bolt polished, tuned and engine turned; a tang safety has been installed and the bolt safety eliminated; the trigger breaks crisply at 2 ¼ lbs. The highly figure stock has an LOP of 13 ¾” over a 1” No_shoc pad; shadow line cheek piece, ebony forend tip and has finely checkered panels with fleur de lis accents. The scope is a Leupold VX II 12 power on Leupold mounts. This is an exceptional rifle in a great light game/benchrest caliber. Overall weight is 9 lbs. 11 oz.
