This is a "MARLIN MODEL 1881, DELUXE in 38-55, Gun was Refurbished and Engraved by Mr. Robert Hughes, Member of the "American Custom Gunmakers Guild & Firearms Engravers Guild of America". Deluxe Pistol Grip Stock and Fore-End, 24" Barrel and Mag Tube Re-Blued with Engraving, Receiver Case Hardened, and Engraved. All Lettering Crisp & Clear, The Bore is Good, with Strong Rifling, and Light Pitting in Grooves. Gun was made in 1888, SN#194XX
