Smith and Wesson Double-Action Favorite. Very rare, approximately 1,000 manufactured in 1882 and 1883. In addition, most were nickle-plated while this one is blued. A lightened version of the 1st Model Double-Action .44.
- 5 inch barrel
- Lightening cuts in frame and a groove along the barrel
- 6-shot fluted cylinder
- Checkered hard rubber grips with S&W logo
- Company name, address, and patent dates stamped on cylinder
- Serial number on the butt and the back of the cylinder
