Description:
L. C. Smith Field grade SxS sidelock shotgun in 16 gauge. S/N 66100 (1924?). Matching receiver, barrels, and foreend iron numbers. 30" solid-rib armour-steel barrels bored .620 left and .625 right. Top of right barrel is stamped "L C Smith Field Grade"; top of left barrel is stamped "Hunter Arms Co Inc Mfrs, Fulton, NY USA". Both sideplates are CCH and stamped L. C. Smith. Single brass bead sight, double triggers, and plain extractors. Checkered half-pistol grip walnut stock and foreend; black plastic PG cap and buttplate. LOP to front trigger is 13.8" About 70% condition overall. Tight action and sharp, shiny bores with no pitting. Foreend has small cracks on right and left sides, just ahead of receiver. Toe of buttplate is chipped. $595 plus $50 shipping. Certified funds or credit cards; add 3% for CC's.
