Description:
Parker VHE 20 gauge SxS shotgun. Except for the added Hawkins pad this gun is exactly as it should be according to the Parker bookl. 28" solid rib barrels of Vulcan steel choked M/F (.016/.029) with very nice, unaltered .620 left and right bores and they retain 85% original/thinning blue. Original frame retains about 20% case colors, mostly on the sides and under the top lever. Trigger guard shows no original finish. The stock is classic early American shotgun dimensions: 1 1/2" DAC, 3" DAH and 14 3/8" over the 1 1/8" pad with slight left hand cast. Mechanically perfect; auto saftey functions correctly, ejectors are perfectly time and both triggers pull crisply at just over 4 lbs. each. Overall weight is 6 lbs. 3 oz. Great bird gun and fine addition to a Parker collection.
