Us. Springfield model 1871 rifle .50-.70 cal, NSN, 36" barrel rolling block, very good condition, brl has nice brown patina, the reciever, hammer, trigger guard show very light surface rust but mostly shiny w/ some bluing still apparent, 2 barrel bands w/ original cleaning rod,front sight & rear ladder type, wood has few scattered wear marks throughout, no cracks, good cartouche, dated 1872,action is excellent and bore is clean.1 of only 10000 made.
