This Ithaca NID Field Grade is a wonderful little 28 gauge ejector gun!
Our evaluation of this shotgun concludes that the wood has been refinished with a repaired crack at the rear of the top tang. Some handling marks are on the forend and stock. There is also a fitted recoil pad with spacer to achieve a 15-1/2" LOP.
25% of the original color case hardening remains over the "Star" engraving pattern on sides and bottom of receiver. The barrels have been replaced with Ithaca Classic Doubles barrels and have been reblued along with the forend iron.
