Very Rare and Special Winchester 1894 Deluxe Short Rifle: Take down, Pistol Grip, Extra Lightweight round 22” barrel, 30 WCF cal. Factory original Lyman tang sight and front sight. 70-75% original receiver blue with blue loss in the primary wear/carry locations. Barrel blue 90-95%. Beautifully grained wood, the finish is 60-65% with areas of vanish flaked away normal scratches and dings. Checkering is in very good condition. Pistol grip cap is original and excellent. Faded case colors on the hammer lever and butt plate. Bore is very good to excellent. Gun matches Cody letter to a T. 131,xxx serial number S/N applied 11/09/1901, Received in warehouse 12/16/2901 & Shipped 12/17/1901 A very nice Christmas present for someone that year?
