Outstanding 10ga hammer gun by W.Richards.This classic duck gun has 311/2" barrels marked "laminated steel".The barrels have bright bores free of any rust,pits,or dents.The wall thickness on each barrel averages .050".The barrels retain 95% of the damascus pattern and are on face.The receiver retains at least 30%of the original case colors.The receiver is nicely engraved with game scenes featuring pheasants.The wood retains most of its original finish and is free of any cracks or damage.The gun weighs exactly 10 lbs.The stock dimensions are 141/4"x15/8"x23/4".The gun comes with a leg-o-mutton leather case that is in excellent condition.An extremely well made gun that is in remarkable condition for a gun built in the late 1880s.Classified as an antique.A great gun for vintage shoots.
