Description:
Vintage Heym Drilling 16 gauge x 8mm. Eagle N & J proof marks. A highlight is full-coverage engraving, including a white tail deer on the left side of the action, a bugling elk on the right. All are surrounded by oak leaves and scroll, with the pattern extending onto the opening lever, tang, barrels, forend furniture and cartridge trap. The 27-inch barrel incorporate extractors, a raised rib with fixed bead, Greener patented side safety, rear sight that automatically rises manually with a push forward of selector on top tang. Shotgun barrels are choked at full/full with 2 9/16 chambers. Stocked in matching rich walnut with 28 LPI checkering, the buttstock has sculptured shadow line cheekpiece. Additional appointments include sling swivel loops, cocking indicators. Weight is 7 pounds, LOP is 13 3/4, drops are 1 3/8 and 2 5/8. Minor scratches. Overall in good condition.
