Rogers & Spencer Army Model percussion Civil War Revolver, 44 cal., 6-shot 7 1/2” Bbl. Serial # 349 Rare Gun. Only 5,000 made for Army. Standard Markings, Rodgers & Spencer, Utica, NY has military inspector’s markings on various parts, W.H. The bore has some rifling with some corrosion, cylinder chambers fairly clean. Action works well and locks up very tight when cocked. Gun has most of the original finish on the barrel & loading lever, Dark finish on cylinder some little corrosion of frame. Walnut grips with 2 cracks on right side, one has been repaired few chips at bottom chips. Very good condition. Overall a very good condition, Original Antique Civil War Era for the collector-shooter. (14-171)
