Description:
S# 916898, 25-20 WCF, 20 inch barrel, very good bore. This 1922 MFG carbine features full length magazine, second style hammer, correct carbine rear sight, walnut stocks and classic looks. 25-20 carbines have a dovetailed front mag band and are fairly scarce. Receiver has flaked retaining 20% blue in protected areas. Barrel and mag tube show 85% blue with scattered oxidation stains. Buttplate shows a dark brown patina. Wood is very good with a few marks from use and a scratched in "A1" and cut "AR" on left side of butt. These are only a half inch tall and do not look bad. This is a very good 25-20 carbine for the Winchester collector. FFL or C&R
