(Sold Pending Funds) 1962 Winchester Model 1894 New in Box. S/N 2521068.
I may be mistaken but I think it is pretty rare to find a brand new 1962 Model 1894 in the original box with matching S/N's and with the original Paperwork and Warranty Card etc.
I had a well known local gunsmith look at this rifle to make sure it is what I was told it is and he said it was a brand new unfired gun. He said it still has some of the packing grease in it that came from the factory. I think he called it cosmoline or something like that. I'm not a gun expert but the gun is perfect and exactly as new in every way as far as I can tell. The box however is still in tact but as you can see from the pictures, time has taken it's toll on it. I took a lot of pictures so that you can see what I mean about the gun and the box.
I think this would be a perfect addition to someones Winchester Lever Action collection.
