- Note: This is a very clean, mechanically crisp, Winchester model 97. It is in a typical field configuration with a 30", full choke, plain barrel. The metal retains 80% original finish, fading or rubbed at the carry points. The stock and forend have been refinished at some point, albiet nicely. Just above the toe there is a long brass oval inset in the stock with the intials C.E.E. Those initials could be easily removed and replaced with others. The length of pull is 14" over a Pachmayr 3/4" white outline pad. Bore is bright. No signs of misuse.
