Description:
Rogers & Spencer .44 caliber percussion Revolver. Manufactured in 1865. "Civil War Era".  Has a 7.5" octagon barrel with a very good bore. Marked on top strap: "ROGERS & SPENCER/UTICA N-Y".  Serial number #2552 is found on barrel under loading lever, on frame, cylinder and right grip panel. Loading lever has #60 on bottom. Has inspector mark, "B", found in several places. Action is tight and indexes like it should. Cylinders are clean and nipples are in excellent condition. Metal  shows some  original bluing on frame and the rest being a grey patina. The loading lever hinge has a replaced screw. The left grip panel is a period replacement and shows small repair. Both grip panels have small losses on bottom edges. I accept USPS Money Orders or Bank Cashier's Check. (Will accept Personal Check, with shipping, hold.)
