Description:
This is a Martial Marked Colt 1860 percussion Revolver. It has nice Cartouche on each side of grip. Six (6) shot. with an 8" barrel. Has an excellent bore. Action and lockup is tight and indexes properly. All numbers match the serial number #103706, except wedge is marked #5597. Has a pretty fair portion of cylinder scene remaining. Metal is mostly brown and brass patina. Walnut grips are solid and have light marks, and small loss, from use. Carved in Bottom of grip is "XH"? Marked "COLTS/PATENT" on left side of frame. Marked "-ADDRESS COL. SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA-". Also has Inspector marks on cylinder,barrel, frame and trigger guard. Such as: "C", "H","G","D". Also marked on cylinder is:"COLTS PATENT No. 3706"/"PAT. SEPT. 10TH 1850". Buyer pays $25.00 shipping to lower 48 states.
