Fantastic Consecutively Numbered 3rd Generation Nickel Plated Colt Frontier Six Shooters in .44-40 with Ivory grips complete with factory boxes numbered to each revolver. Features include black powder frames with 4 ¾” barrels marked “COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER” on left side of barrel with Hartford address on top, 3 line patent date stamped on frame with “.44” marked on bottom of both barrels in front of cylinder pins. These Colts were manufactured in 1984 when Colt reintroduced the black powder frame option. Both Colts are in like new condition with only minimal light handling marks overall. The factory polished Nickel is excellent as well as the Colt “150 year” Silver Medallion Ivory grips. This pair of Colts would make a great addition to any collection.
