"Browning's Patent" Auto-5 by FN Factory Engraved.
Belgium manufacture, 16ga with 2 3/4" chamber, blue steel 29 1/2" VR bbl. choked modified (**), silver receiver game scene engraved and double signed by Master Engraver "S. Missen" with brace of setters and flushing pheasants on left side panel, top left of receiver engraved with flushing pheasants, right side has pair of setters and flushing ducks, top left of receiver features flushing ducks and marsh, back of receiver has the bust of a setter, and trigger guard and tang are scroll engraved. low lustre factory finish on nicely figured walnut stock and forearm with point pattern checkering, round knob pistol grip, and factory horn Browning/FN butt plate. Overall metal condition is 99%, with well executed engraving, wood is 97% all original stock finish shows characteristic "crazing" w/ a few chips in the horn butt. Weighs 6 lbs. 13 oz. and has a 14 1/4" LOP.
