Description:
This two piece half split orange label box shows very light soiling on top label, no side sealing label was ever applied. One side and one end have handwritten notations dated 'July 31-1905" reading "Brass cups 9/32 I.D. 3/16 long, open both ends". Box contains ten rounds in brass cases with "U.S. 32 Colt" headstamps and eight small brass cups. Boxes with similar notations are known to come from the Winchester factory, this one has a 54 in red ink on side. A very interesting box with a nice label.
