Description:
Serial #K432536, .32 S&W Long, 6” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This handsome pinned barrel revolver was made in 1961 and has retaining 99% of the original blue with only some faint traces of silvering at the muzzle, a very mild turn-ring on the cylinder, and a barely visible hairline scratch at the front edge of the sideplate. As well there is a minor abrasion in the middle of the the left side of the barrel. The hammer and trigger retain a like amount of the original color case-hardening with touches of minor gray fading along the high edges. The walnut diamond-center S&W medallion grips are numbered to the gun on the interior and are in excellent condition with very little wear and only a few negligible handling marks and blemishes. The revolver is housed in a correct, gold colored, two-piece S&W box that is unnumbered, and is accompanied by a 2015 dated S&W factory letter stating that the revolver was shipped to the Montana Mercantile Co. of Missoula, MT, on October 27, 1961. This is a superb and highly desirable K-Frame .32 revolver and would make a splendid addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
