From my collection. An Inland M1 carbine produced in late 1943/early 1944 with early war features. Type one barrel band with no trace of a type 3 ever having been installed, flip rear sight and push safety. Original barrel with bright bore and no pitting dated 2/44. Serial number 5170XXX. Comes with three GI 15 round magazines, oiler, GI sling and original magazine butt stock pouch dated 1943. Inland stock marked HI in well and ordnance wheel on butt. Wood is very good medium brown color with a couple of dings above ordnance stamp on right butt stock area. Two rivet handguard that matches the stock perfectly. With three magazines,sling, oiler and mag pouch it is also an excellent shooter. The WW2 sling, oiler, mag pouch and three GI mags alone are a $200.00 value. NO IMPORT MARKS. Handsome rifle and reasonably priced. Additional photos upon request. Free shipping to lower 48 states. Be aware of your state laws regarding 15 round magazines as I will sell the rifle but will not include magazines to these states. I will ship one (1) five round magazine with the rifle to a high capacity mag ban state.
