Ithaca #2 grade 12 ga double barrel
- #6 wood on a grade #2.. factory worker picked too high grade of wood.
- 26 in barrels rt = cylinder (marked- 0 )
- Left = modified (2)
- Sunburst pad and ray- bar site
- Flat auto safety, double triggers
- Stored upside down since 1960 to prevent oil going into wood.
- Drop comb = 1.5 in., drop at heel = 2 5/8 in.
- Barrels proofed by Charles August 1935 + ( a plus sign was his ID)
- Stock shield. Has JAC 1960
- A/E auto ejectors
- Belgium barrels LLH
- Ser # 459404 made 1935
- Trigger pull = 14.5 inches.
- This gun was refurbished in 1960 at the Ithaca factory. My dad knew the head of customer service= Ed Thompson
- Condition.. as it came out of the factory with a few scratches. This gun was shot very little from the date my dad acquired it in about 1957.
