This is one of 5,000 units that were retrofitted with a rifled barrel in the infamous “Hall Carbine Affair”. Brown finish to barrel and bands is worn away. Metal surfaces in good condition with very light pitting or rust damage. Stock has various scratches and dings. Initails have been carved into bottom behind trigger guard.
