Description:
Colt SAA Gen 1 Revolver "Hugh O'Brien" .45 Colt Caliber Mfg. 1903 Grip frame inscribed "To Hugh O'Brien A Regular Fellow" From Abe Mauis Cincinnati, Ohio Photo of Hugh O'Brien as Wyatt Earp included, with Inscription - Ray You are a "Top Gun" Signed Hugh O'Brien Letter of provenance included certifying that gun was carried by Mr. O'Brien while filming "Wyatt Earp" Television series. Gun itself is approximately 40% finish, patina even over rest of gun. Grips have not been removed, but oxidation even and consistent over both, and have not been removed from gun since owned by Mr. O'Brien. Serial numbers match on all parts. Cylinder pin shows minor deformation of bands, due to use of tools to remove at sometime in distant past. Ray Hauser was former co- owner of Pony Express in Encino, CA. When this gun was presented to him by Mr. O'Brien in 1986.
