26 1/2" tapered round barrel with full-band folding-hooded front sight, full-band swivel base, 1 standing and 1 folding express sight engraved for 50 / 200 and 350 yards on full-band island base. Black-streaked, oil finished, English walnut stock with engraved recoil crossbolt, casehardened steel trapdoor pistol grip cap, classic comb, beaded pancake cheekpiece, classic point-pattern checkering, rear swivel stud, gold oval and leather-covered recoil pad. Mauser Oberndorf 98 action with matted front receiver ring, steel bottom metal with detachable floorplate, Sako single-stage trigger, and original Mauser flag safety with SAFE inlaid in gold, as well as FN-type tangside safety. Zeiss Diavari-C 3-9x36 scope with fine duplex reticle on Holland & Holland's proprietary quick-detachable mount system, numbered to the rifle. Acanthus scroll engraving at muzzle, swivel band, scope mounts, grip cap, bottom metal, and with a cape buffalo head on the floorplate. Pull: 14 7/8". Weight: 8lbs, 7oz scoped; 7lbs, 2oz without. London proofed in 1986. Only lightly used and retaining 99% blue. Slick action and excellent bore.
