#GG5977, Colt Sauer Drilling 12 x 12 x 30-06 Model 3000, A New in the Box Drilling Marketed by Colt Firearms and so marked, Made in 1974, 25" barrels with a Rib Extension cross bolt, .726 .015 & .029" (Open Mod. & Imp.Mod), 2 3/4" chambers, 1 leaf folding rear sight that is actuated with the top tang rifle barrel selector, Side clip action body, Set trigger on the front, Top tang selector for the rifle, Side safety, Scalloped action body, Cocking indicators, Steel trigger guard, Sling eyes, No cheekpiece, 14 1/2" LOP over the factory 1" pad, Good shotgun dimensions at 14 1/2 x 1 9/16 x 2 3/16", 8 lbs. 2 oz., 80% coverage of 2 game scenes and scroll engraving, 100% original blue on the barrels, The wood has original finish and is 100%, The checkering is 100%, The shotgun bores and the rifle bore remain new. This is a nice 1974 made drilling by J. P. Sauer in Germany that was bought in 1975 and put away and remained as a one owner gun. It is New in the factory box with all the paperwork.
