Description:
An interesting Cowboy single action revolver that looks like a 1st generation Colt! This gun has a 5 5/8" long barrel with a corroded bore, and no writing on the top, but has front blade sight. The only writing I see on this old cowboy gun is the cal 44 above the trigger guard on the left side. The frame has the number 48 ,cylinder is numbered 48 on the back side, and I suspect that this gun was made in Spain for the western trade. Gun indexes and locks up tight with a strong mainspring, but I'm not sure how safe it would be to shootes with older well fitting walnut grips in good condition. The finish is grey mixed with blue , but I think there may be some cold blue used. We don’t have asite .I prefer money orders or a check. Item ships when funds come in.
