Marlin 1889 Rifle in 38-40
This old rifle actually has a great bore and very nice but plain wood. It was refinished years ago and they did not remove the pitting from the sides of the action. They did hot blue the rifle. A great gunsmith project for those Cowboy action/SASS shooters, in that the action could be lightly shaved or cleaned up and then case colored, and you would have a great companion piece for your 38-40 revolver.
