This is a very straight and crisp second model 76' with a low serial number. It has some considerable wonderful original blue finish across the overall rifle, and beautiful patina on the brass lifter. It has nicely fitting light colored wood, with a cresent butt. It has a 28" full octagon barrel, with a bore that rates an easy 9 out of 10.. The action functions well and has a single set trigger. It has a neat express style rear sight and a Rocky Mountain blade front sight. It is a complete, and very nice rifle that would add to any collection.
