This is a very clean and straight three digit serial Large Frame Colt Lightning Rifle. It is chambered in 40-60-260. It has a full round barrel that measures 28". The action functions smoothly and barrel has about an 8 1/2 bore. The overall metal has turned to a nice even patina and the wood is light colored and fits well and proud at the tangs. A nice solid rifle.
