Colt Single Action Revolver Model 1873,
 
Colt frontier six shooter etched panel single action revolver, model 1873, serial number 53107, with cylinder marked with last 4 numbers3107(which is standard). Factory Ivory grips, original etched panel says”COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER”, 7 ½” bbl, nickel finish, standard markings, “COLTS PT F.A.MFG CO. HARTFORD CT USA”, Ivory grips 44 – 40 caliber, with 44cf stamped on trigger guard. Bore is shiny with 80% -90% rifling, a little corrosion, mechanics excellent, locks tight, number match.  Metal clean with original nickel finish probably 65-70%, with a little wear in spots, no corrosion on panel, very fine. Comes with Factory letter describing 7-1/2” inch barrel, nickel finish, Ivory grips, sold to Kittredge in St. Louis. Not buffed or cleaned. No FFL or C&R. needed as is antique pre 1898. Overall a fine early single action, with factory ivory grips. (14-169)
