Description:
Inv. 5555 Colt Model Official Police, Caliber .35, Serial Number 8432XX, Manufacture Date 1955. This is a minty almost unfired example of an early post-war high polish gun. It is actually better than 99%original factory blue. It has the appearance having fired less than a box of rounds. There is no edge silvering or muzzle wear. The cylinder drag ring is almost non-existent, not having pierced the surface of the blue. All parts match. The grips you will notice are aftermarket target style and have a couple of slight surface abrasions. The cylinder, recoil shield and force cone show almost no use. The bore is factory new bright as a shiny penny with rifling sharp as shark's tooth. The gun comes with the original factory box labelled to the gun, the original Colt rust retardant wrapping paper, warrantee card, and Colt Safety instructions booklet. Get an original set of grips and the gun will go up in value about 40%. $595
