Remington model 700 carbine in 270 Win.Built in 1962,this rifle has a 20" barrel with open sights.Features include ebony forend tip and grip cap,drop floorplate magazine,hooded front sight,pressed fleur checkering,a monte carlo cheekpiece,and an aluminum buttplate.This rifle retains 99% of the original wood and blue finish and is all original.These 20" barreled guns were brought out to compete with the Winchester model 70 featherweight and were only built for a short time.This one is an excellent example of this configuration and would be a great addition to any collection.It will also make a super deer rifle for use in a pop up blind or shooting box.C&R eligible.
