This is an early version of this model that is both popular and well thought of. 28 inch nitro proved damascus barrels with unaltered 2 1/2 chambers. They measure Right 33 thousandths minimum wall thickness and Left at 34. The chokes are 1/4 right and Full left. Browning on the thumbprint damascus is excellent with only a couple of light scratches and minor wear.
A very lively and well maintained gun weighing as a game gun should at 6 lbs. 7 oz.
The action has a great patina and while modestly engraved, it has much character throughout. Blacking is good with only minimal wear on the trigger bow.
Gorgeous original stock with fiddle back and mineral streaks throughout.
Measurements are excellent at 14 1/4 to ebonite plate (could easily be removed to add a pad for additional length if needed). Drop at comb is 1 3/8 in. and 2 in. at heal.
You will find it cased in original oak/leather case with original trade labels. A fabulous example from a famous maker!
