ITHACA MODEL 1911/A1 US ARMY 45 a.c.p. semi-auto pistol, mfg,'d. in 1944 with 5" barrel. This classic firearm has been reblued at some point in it's history and is equipped with plastic style "COLT" grips, replacement adjustable trigger, combat style hammer and asst'd. other non factory original items. This classic pistol, although not meeting the collectable requirements of 1911 pistols would certainly have to be considered to be a very good example of a shooting piece for self protection or general shooting purposes.
