Description:
Inv. 5581 This is a Berliner-Lubecker (qve) K-43, Caliber 8mm, Serial Number 1257 a Dated "45". This very late manufactured K-43 is the rarest of all the makers and the condition is in outstanding condition.  The blued parts are at least 90+%.  The wear is consistent throughout.  The bulk of the loss is only on the sharp edges.  The rough cast parts finish retained is similar.  The receiver is stamped Eagle/214.  There are no pits or rust anywhere.  The bolt carrier is proper and numbered 6873 d.  It still retains the push button bolt release.  The sheet metal dust shield, usually missing is present.  The laminated butt stock and forearm retain, also about 90% of the original factory lacquer.  There are no splits, cracks or dings anywhere.  The stock has never been sanded and the right side of the butt shows two quite distinct Waffenamts.  There is an Eagle/214 and Eagle/WaA 214.  The bore is super, quite bright with sharp rifling and just a hint of graying.  The gun comes with one extra fine condition magazine stamped "aye" k-43 and one original sling also in excellent condition.  The buckle is stamped Circle with what appears to be reversed K.  The gun is great to look at and would be super on the range.  You will be hard pressed to find a better one at this price.      $2995. * *The scope and the mount shown are optional extra.  The mount and rings are reproductions.  The scope is original and marked. Gw ZF 4/19744/ddx/triangle.  It is quite clear and has the correct German 3 post reticle.  It is priced at $895 with the gun or sold separately, $995.
