- Note: This is a rare opportunity to own one of the guns that won the West. This 3rd Model 1873 rifle was manufactured in 1888 and still remains in original condition, although a bit worse for wear. We acquired this gun with the original Winchester 32 WCF bullet mold and loading tool. Also included is the ideal number 5 powder measure. The bore is rough, but shootable. Infact, the family we acquired the gun from was still using it. Original finish on barrel and frame is faint, except in protected places. The right side of the frame, behind sideplate, has been cleaned. There are traces of case colors on the hammer. Wood shows appropriate staining and abrasions for 127 years of life. A very cool package.
