Description:
Cheyenne style Belt Holster. This holster will hold your 1873 Colt 7 1/2 inch barrel or copy, 1875 Remington 7 1/2 inch barrel or copy, 186l Navy 7 1/2 inch barrel, 1858 Remington 7 1/2 inch barrel, (not 8 inch) 185l Navy 7 1/2 inch barrel and all conversions there of. It will not fit Dragoons or Walkers. This holster is an authentic copy of the Cheyenne holster. It carries a wide variety of arms and yet still has great styling. These holsters are hand made from 6-7 oz leather. Lightly oiled to a natural tan. Sewn with yellow linen thread. Has an sewn in toe plug. The boarder stamping and rosette stamp on the pouch were chosen to closely approximate the original. Right hand draw. The belt is a Double fold money belt, 3 inch width, made from pebble grain calfskin like the originals. Designed primarily for carrying gold and silver coins. This was the most popular belt available between 1875 and 1900. The most comfortable cartridge belt you will ever wear. Marked 42 inch waist and .44 caliber comes with 35 cartridge loops.
