Description:
Serial #144217, 12 ga., 30” barrels with fine, bright bores that have small specks of mild freckling in spots along their length. This 1907 gun is built on a G-frame and has an overall dull, pewter gray patina with mild brown freckling starting to appear along the edges. The barrels, which have no dents, are beginning to freckle along their entire length, but the Damascus pattern is still rather sharp. The frame has turned to a mellow gray with light scrollwork engraving and three double gamebird vignettes on the sides of the frame and underside. The walnut capped pistol grip stock and splinter forend have been lightly sanded over time, but remain sound with typical handling marks and surface blemishes from use, and a small chip at the toe on both the wood and the original hard rubber buttplate. The stock has a 14 1/8" length of pull with drops of 1 1/2" and 2 3/4". The gun is mechanically fine and rates good plus-very good overall. FFL or C&R
