This is a factory new Remington Custom Shop Model 547 Classic Target in .22 Long Rifle with an 18.5” barrel. Based on the Model 504 design, Remington's 547 combine premium components to create rifles with unparalleled accuracy. The Model 547 Target has an 18 1/4" stainless steel Shilen barrel with a heavy target contour. It has a target-style walnut stock built with the painstaking attention to detail that makes our Custom Shop craftsmen the best in the business. The button-rifled 18.5 inch stainless steel Shilen barrels guarantee 1/2" maximum group size at 50 yards. The match chamber with a concave dish crown protects the high-grade rifling from damage. The rifle also features a receiver machined from a solid bar of steel with a rear lock-up design, a positive bedded action with twin takedown screws, dual extractors for positive feeding, and an advanced barrel-clamp design for a strong action-to-barrel union. The classic walnut stock boasts a black forend tip and grip cap as well as traditional checkering to offer a solid hold. The stylish bolt design is modeled after the popular Model 700. The trigger is set at a crisp 3 lbs.
