Smith & Wesson Regulation Police .38 S & W CTG with a 4 inch barrel with walnut grips, This is a Pre-war five- screw I- -frame, with a pinned barrel. All serial #s match, on the front tang and forstrap and on the cylinder. On the bottom of the grips Pat. Jun 5 1917 is stamped in the wood. Smith & Wesson is marked on the left side of the barrel, on the right in 2 lines it is marked Regulation Police with 38 S & W CTG on the 2nd line. The firearm is in good condition with light swirls on the bluing. There is a small 1/8 in diameter mark on the bluing in front of the trigger guard on the right. Buyer pays all shipping costs.
