Description:
Produced in 1955 by the Royal Ordnance Factory at Fazakerly outside of Liverpool England. Many of these No 4 MK 2 rifles were exported to the U.S. as surplus in the 1980s and 90s often, still wrapped in brown paper and coated with cosmoline.This particular example was, in fact, originally in the brown paper wrapping and removed from such by the previous owner but, unfired and then returned to Cablea's as a trade for another firearm.This rifle is a fine example of the last bolt rifle of the British Empire and will make a spendid shooter and or addition to your military arms collection.
