Description:
S# 265851, 12 gauge 2 3/4 inch , 28 inch Krup fluid steel barrels choked full and cylinder, bright excellent bores. This 1915 manufactured flues grade 1 gun features the pointer engraving on action sides with simple line engraving on action and fences. Other features include a capped semi-pistil grip, this is a very early gun to have a capped grip, and flying duck butplate. Gun looks great with about 65% case colors on frame, strongest on sides and mostly silvered on bottom. barrel shows evenly scattered specks of staining with about 70% blue. Wood is sound with sharp checkering. Butstock shows scratches on left and a few small gouges on right with a little added oil wiped on long ago. LOP remains 13 3/4 inches with a drop of 1 3/4 and 3 inches. Action remains tight and locking lever stops at right side of center. FFL or C+R
